Loch Sween from Tayvallich

Weekend "glamping" at Tayvallich with a paddle up the Scotnish arm of Loch Sween on Saturday. Autumn was just beginning to make an appearance in the trees up the loch. We had enough tide with us to get up to the top of the loch, pulling out for lunch in the shelter of the S bank.  Landed breifly on Eilean na Circe for a look at the old fortified dwelling on the island before heading back to Tayvallich for cake and hot chocolate.

Loch Voil and Loch Doine

Windy forecast so we headed for shelter with a paddle down Loch Voil then through into Loch Doine.  Weather gave us a bit of everything - calm, drizzle, rain, wind, more rain and eventually sunshine.

Calm and peaceful at the top of Loch Voil
Very windy at the bottom of Loch VOil and the top of Loch Doine
Art installation between Loch Voil and Loch Doine
Finally - a bit of sunshine
